City of Banjarbaru is a medium size city in terms of population size but has quite a large geographical size. This could mean that public service may not always be physically available nor that the citizen living in a more remote area has access to the information on public services that they can get. The city government come up with solution that simplify the process both for the citizens and the government officials.
From the government official ends, various permits and documents application process are integrated into one single system that would allow faster processing despite going through different government agencies. On the citizens end, the process applying for permits and documents are made easier as these services come to them in the form of a “mobile” service. This“mobile” service would go around secluded areas and standing by in public gathering spots to serves people who have limited access or time to go the public officials in the city centre, including elderly, caretakers or those who have mobility limitation.
