Future of Smart Mobility
What would the next generation of urban transport offer? The future urban transport is going towards a more sustainable approach that considers the integration of environment, society, and economics aspects of the mobility system. The key to Smart Urban Transport is to optimize the connectivity and provide a seamless experience throughout the transit system. Further, urban transport will benefit from generally three major objectives of Smart Urban Transport, firstly, through automation, that increase the productivity of urban transport. Next, it is the upgrade of safety, performance and service capabilities that are achieved through cost-effective manners. Lastly, supporting the energy conservation goals and priorities environmental protection as well as promoting safety and city revitalisation objectives.
