Data integration in City of Surabaya

As part of the integration of the city management and development tools in City of Surabaya. The Department of Information,Communication and Technology is given the responsibility to integrates the data that are initially scattered all through the different departments and agencies in the city government. The ICT Department would gather and validate the data that are often differ between each government agencies. The data integration includes visual data such as the CCTV footage that are managed by the Department of Transport and from the City Police Department. The centralized data are expected for a better policy formulation and swift action for emergencies.
